fall has officially fallen.
leaves are changing. school is back in full swing
and i am on my 800th flight in two days, this time heading
to seattle, and watching lindsay lohan half naked her way
through some terrible movie called "Georgia Rule."
yes! living the dream!

starting this tuesday, 9/25, my song "car crash" will be front and
center on the iTunes store as the "free download of the week"...
very cool! make sure to stop by and check it out!

-"Car Crash" Video Being Edited-
we shot all the footage for the "car crash" video earlier this month
and it is in the final stages of being edited. the footage is killer
and what i've seen so far looks amazing! so i'll keep you posted
on the final ETA... should be worth the wait!

i can't wait to hit the states, the band sounds great, and a bunch

'Some Mad Hope's' first week in the world!
hi all, matt here...

i'm in salt lake, doing radio promo stuff and
wanted to give you all a hello from the other side of release week.
'some mad hope' has officially been in stores now for 9 days...
thank you to everyone who picked it up or iTunes'd it, or bought
a copy for friends or told friends.

i'm not one for talking numbers, but i really wanted to share this with
all of you, because YOU totally made it happen...

first week facts about 'some mad hope':

it was officially in the top 10 albums at iTunes all last week (now top 15).
it got as high as 5, then camped out at 6, right under 'hairspray,'
'high school musical II' and a few other blockbusters.

it has officially quadrupled the first week sales of my last record, 'beneath these fireworks'
and this week marks my official debut in the billboard top 200, at 60!!

anyway, just really wanted to share the good news with you, since it's because of you
all that it happened.

thank you IMMENSELY for your support!!
and for spreading the word about this album to anyone who will listen...
it is just about the greatest thing i could ask for.
