co-headline tour with phillip phillips

i am VERY psyched to announce that i’m going out this summer on a co-headline (same set length for both of us) tour with Phillip Phillips. he is rad and it’s gonna be a real fun 7 weeks. opening the tour will be A Great Big World on most dates and Eric Hutchinson on the rest. dudefest usa!

this will be the first time i’ve played a lot of the songs from ‘show me your fangs’ live with a full band, so that rules. and i also plan on incorporating a bunch of the acoustic aspects of last fall’s tour into this run… so i’m pumped!

bill murray video out NOW

as most of you know, i have a song on the new record called “bill murray.”  i wrote it about a fictional 100 day hang with the man himself. kind of like a dude-version of thelma and louise, but without the dying. anyway. it’s the best song i’ve ever written and it’s the first song i’ve ever had a real clear vision for a video for. so i recruited my friends and we shot it, guerilla-style. no big budget. and it turned out SUPER cool. it’s strange and surreal and funny and sad, all at the same time. anyway, i’m super proud of it and it’s out TODAY! if you can, clear out a few minutes, put your headphones on and dig in.
